Challenge #3

In your own space, tell us who, from one of your fandoms, would you most want to have dinner with (or tea, or a random afternoon visit), And why? This could be a creator, an actor, a costumer, a set designer, a director, a character, a composer, anybody! What would you talk about? What are you dying to know? Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

This is a tough one. Technically, they are not from my fandoms but I would love to meet and talk to Stephen King, and just talk about his writing process and the types of stories he'd like to write. The other author I'd love to speak to is Douglas Adams. I'm just in admiration of the way he writes and it's fascinating how he could make the absurd seem logical. And funny! I just want to pick his brain, to see where it all  comes from.

Authors totally count for the challenge and they would be two really interesting authors to meet with. I used to be a really avid Stephen King reader when I was younger, although I prefer fantasy and sci-fi now to horror, but he's an excellent author! Great choices.

Oh I've read The Dark Tower series, as they were published which was very frustrating as sometimes they were years apart.

I do have thoughts and feelings on the books but I won't give any spoilers. I did enjoy reading them though.

It may just seem more probable these days, with the pandemic and climate change. Maybe everyone should read it!

No need to be :) But you'll see what I mean when you read it. Not the actual ending, but the world he's in throughout his travels.
